Temperature: 95 degrees F
I woke up and I actually remembered to start documenting!
I let the dog out in the backyard and I bent down to pull a weed. I tweaked something in my back but it wasn't too bad (yet.) I come in and feed the pets.
I drank a cup of coffee.
And then I watched the documentary The Bad Kids. I highly highly recommend it. It's set in the Mojave Desert where I live and is about a continuation high school here. It's available on netflix.
Isabelle comes and snuggles as I continue to sit on the couch lazy like.
I update my poshmark closet.
Justin makes breakfast and I cut the avocado.
Sausage, eggs, and avocado!
I go back to documentary watching. I watched one about men in drug rehab and then I watched this one called The Cutting Edge, about the FDA and medical devices.
Checkers wants to sit with me, my sweet boy.
...And then it happened. My back that I had tweaked early tightened up so incredibly bad. I fell off the couch it hurt so bad and had a hard time getting back up.
Justin helped me up, took me to the bedroom, and lathered my back with biofreeze and gave me an aleve.
This remains my view for the next some hours.
I eventually get up to eat lunch, which I forgot to photograph. We had turkey burgers. It took me quite awhile to roll out of bed.
I decide to sit on the couch instead of laying down for awhile. Violet (my boyfriend's 11-year-old daughter) packs up to go back home.
I take a shower which helps my back a little bit.
I attempt to start reading a new book, The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See.
But my back is hurting too much to even pay attention to my book, so I go lay back down.
Violet and Checkers come in and lay with me and Violet and I talk about her upcoming first day of 6th grade.
Despite my back pain, I go with Justin to make the drive to drop Violet off.
We generally meet in this parking lot to meet her mom. As Violet gets out of the car she says to me, "I love you Liz." Melt my heart girl.
Justin wants to go into Walmart to find a butt cushion for his chair. Didn't work.
We get El Pollo Loco for dinner.
And then we make the hour drive back. I am getting stiff.
Justin feeds the cat and dog, since I can't lean down. Usually it's my job.
I pack up three sales from poshmark to mail out Monday.
I pull a card from the Soul Journey oracle deck. It makes me think.
Isabelle rests while I sit more.
I check the group and see there's been 2 submissions!
And then I go to bed around 9:30, but I forgot to take a picture.
Boring, painful day.
