Good morning! I get up and remember it's a day to take photos! I make myself a smoothie with banana and almond butter.
At about 7:15 it's time to get ready for work. Only one week left until maternity leave!
Everyday I find myself leaving the house just a little later. Moving around is hard.
I call my mom on the way to work. She's having a medical procedure today, so I wanted to check in.
Starbucks run before work: bacon and gouda sandwich and a chai tea latte
I get to work and man, my office is a mess. I need to get this under control before I'm out.
I have court. I have to wear my mask into the courtroom and I am finding breathing in it significantly more difficult the further in my pregnancy I get. More reason to go on maternity leave.
I do some plea forms.
After court I go back to my office.
At about noon I leave. I was wearing tennis shoes today (and will be until I'm out) because I can't wear the compression socks otherwise and I need them.
My husband has been getting these pre-prepared meals. I have one today and forget to take a picture. It was apricot mustard chicken, mashed sweet potatoes, and green beans.
At 1:30 I go to the doctor. Baby is doing just fine. I'm 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant, with him being due 9/30. He's growing on track. His heart beat sounds good. Next check is 9/7.
On my way home I go to the post office to get stamps.
When I get home I log in to slack, which is where I have been volunteering with Governor Gavin Newsom's campaign to stop the recall against him in September.
Justin ran out to get himself a soda and brings me a caffeine free one.
At 3 I login to a continuing education training on mental health issues.
As my training is going I write some postcards for another Democrat campaign I'm volunteering with.
After training is over, I take a shower.
Feed the pets.
Justin wants to go for a ride, so we get in the car, drive, and just talk.
When I get home I work on volunteering with the Gavin Newsom campaign some more.
I decide it's time to get the baby bottles ready. I wash them all with soap and water and now need to boil them for 5 minutes.
Justin's doing keto right now, so I attempt to make a chicken-crust pizza. It's gross. We toss it. This is not the first time I've had a dinner-fail on a glimpse day. I promise, this actually isn't a regular thing for me.
Justin goes out to grab something else, so I take a break and sit and read Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand.
He brings me home a California burrito.
After dinner I read some more. At about 9 I take the dog out for potty time.
And I do my own hygiene things.
I take my prenatal vitamin and the low-dose aspirin I've been directed to take.
He goes to bed. He won't sleep in his bed anymore, so he's just on the floor, sometimes on pillows.
So does she. She sleeps with me. <3
