I'm working from home, but I didn't do a whole lot of work
before I went out for a walk.
On the way out I used my cool new round ceramic box knife to cut up the box that the vanilla syrup had come in, and put it in the recycling.
As I walked, I listened to , and read it in the original as I went.
Spring is coming.
When I got back to the house, I saw something in the window that made me sing "You are so nice to come home to; you are so nice, coming home."
I worked a little more, and ordered a wooden roller coaster from Germany, impulsively. At some point I checked LJ and was reminded of this challenge, cuz amw wrote about it, and posted noodles I wanted to eat. But I made a sandwich instead. PB&J, but there was no more J of the sort I'd intended, so I used some really yummy stuff:
I knew I wanted to clean up my desk by my old computer, which I'd bought a new keyboard for on eBay. So I revisited the art of making rags (paper towels are on rationing) and did that. I also changed my sheets to the orange ones. Too bad Manny's name isn't Christina:
But he got the bed to himself soon after that.
I took a break to look at a movie. And set the DVR. Geez, I started to type "VCR"! I am old.
That's my new blanket I'm under. The movie is The Phenix City Story.
I also attended to various things, like posting the re-cap of my One-Day Special quiz on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
Speaking of which, Rachel had her baby. While Adam Schlesinger died.
I checked some COVID data and posted my daily postcard post.
I worked some more at my new spot. It worked well. Didn't want to shut the window, tho it'd gotten chilly. Got a Bernie call while that was going on. They wanted me to make sure my friend (first woman I ever slept with, decades ago) knew to request a ballot. See follow-up text.
At some point I was back in the living room, and had the Game Show channel on, and there was Ken, in a PSA about staying inside.
I had the last two pieces of Whole Foods mochi for dessert (pictured here on my laptop cover, with its genuine-luggage-tag decorations).
I watched some good not-good TV, and then some good TV.
"Survivor" High and Low
and got a reminder to do my daily Spanish lesson (and did it, plus some phone games).
I live alone, but I do have company in this isolation, as you have perhaps noticed.
Finally, I hit the hay. And then it took my a long time to get to sleep. But it was a good day.
